The Department of Sociology, Criminology, & Anthropology in the College of Arts and Sciences at North Central College invites applications for a 1-year, visiting position in Sociology to begin August 1, 2024. Candidates will be considered regardless of field of specialization. Teaching excellence is paramount, and the ability to instruct a range of undergraduate courses in the sociology curriculum is required. Applicants should also demonstrate their ability in mentoring of undergraduate students. Successful applicants are expected to have completed their Ph.D. in Sociology or a closely related field by August 2024. The contract is for 9.5 months with a competitive salary and 3-3 teaching load.
